I've been listening to this all year. Strong female vocals, heavy guitar licks and a smooth transition from a solo career.
Very good album indeed.

Flower Travellin' Band - Satori

I just love this. Probably in my Top 10 albums of all time at this point.

Anytime someone says something like this, I gotta check it out. It's next in my queue.

Same here. I don't even know what it is, but I generally love whatever Goofle recommends, so I'll be listening to this ASAP.

Thanks

It's basically a burst of acid tinged hard/progressive rock. Not a dull moment.

Herbie Hancock, Thrust. I love this album, I've always loved this album, but I just listened to it again after a long break and it reminded me that I REALLY LOVE THIS ALBUM. The funky grooves, the percussion, the keys, the electronic swirls... if I had an official top 10 jazz records, this one would be near the top. So freaking good.

Pain Teens - Born In Blood

Perfect noise rock album.

This is easily the best math rock album that I've heard. I have no idea why I put off listening to this for so long, but it was worth the wait.
It's good, but I think American Don is much better. Some of the transitions on American Don are awkward but the songs in general are more enjoyable.

Speaking of math rock, anyone a fan of the genre needs to check this out immediately

relentless stuff, a joy to listen to

Ólafur Arnalds - Eulogy for Evolution (2007)
A brilliant modern classical album. I've been looking for stuff that's kind of piano-based ambient music and this album hits the spot nicely. It has that beautiful and emotional sound that Icelandic artists seem to do so well. Will make for some great listening over the winter months.
