As Goofle said, it's a mash-up, it's not supposed to be In the Aeroplane Over The Sea, that already exists.
This is different.
I'll take your guys' word for it.

Biosphere - Substrata (1997)
I was already familiar with his debut Microgravity but this is a lot more enjoyable. While Microgravity is more in the vein of ambient house, Substrata casts aside the beats and goes for a straight ambient sound. The music (in particularly the use of space) immediately invokes a wide-open glacial environment where the air is cold and fresh, just like the album art. If you like ambient music this is essential.

Kabyzdoh Obtruhamchi - Estcho (2009)

This, kind of hard to pronounce name, is a Russian one man project, that I've been listening to quite a bit these past months, always returning to it. So it's safe to say it's quite addictive to me. If I have to classify it, it's a kind of free folk, freak-folk, psychedelic drone etc with an eastern European twist. This kind of music can be pretty hit or miss, ranging from death of boredom to extreme bliss. Well, this is the latter. When it hits, it really hits.

I don't really have an inspiration to describe the music right now, so I'll quote a small text from discogs.
Quote:
His music is a thankful surprise with its sky-rending hybridization of eastern european guitar spree & 70s snowdazed modal folkrock. Resonant drums burst through the giant aluminum churn of guitar, voice, and percussion arcing overhead. Dancing between poles of hot motion & cool mass, Sergey’s impressively energetic numbers establish themselves long enough to each become deeply meaningful, essential scenes in his pan shamanic expression.
"Viva Piskadero!" is a nice illustration (and my favorite track)

Heh, thanks bob. Nice to see you. Actually this is one of the rare few new things I've been listening. There was a period of time when I wasn't listening to anything. Kind of unexpected for a big music fan, but it happens.

Hop Along-Get Disowned
bandcamp

I've been listening to this all year. Strong female vocals, heavy guitar licks and a smooth transition from a solo career.

I've gone through several of those phases. I think it's just a consequence of being so aurally saturated. It happened to me right after high school, picked up again towards the middle of college, then slowly picked up pace until 2010 when I was full on obsessed again.

Typically what happens when I'm in those funks is I just listen to what is comfortable and nostalgic for awhile, or just listen to shuffle all the time. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it does get you out of the loop once you're back in full swing.

This is basically exactly what I do. By doing that, I eventually latch on to something I haven't looked into as much I though I did and them BAM I have a new direction to go in. It's refreshing. It's also comforting to know that I will always come back to music. The first time I lost some interest, I was legitimately depressed about it.
