^Goofle put me onto it earlier this year when my face wore that same confused look.
It's basically a mash-up album of Neutral Milk Hotel's sublime ITAOTS and a mix of pop/hip hop tracks.
It's so incredibly good.

As incredibly good as you scholars say it is, I'm just slightly appalled That someone would take such a beautiful album and taint it with hip-hop. Just my opinion, I suppose. Sorry if I'm being a debbie-downer.

Not really sure how putting Hip Hop over it can taint the original material since... erm... it's a mashup.

Big Star - No1 Record

Not listened to this in a while.

oh come on, you know you want to give it a listen.
As Goofle said, it's a mash-up, it's not supposed to be In the Aeroplane Over The Sea, that already exists.
This is different.

Downloading this right now.

Don Caballero - What Burns Never Returns
This is easily the best math rock album that I've heard. I have no idea why I put off listening to this for so long, but it was worth the wait.

downloading this one. the album cover reminds me of something, can't put a finger on it. But I feel obliged to listen to this record now in the hopes of rekindling this lost memory.

Christian Scott, Christian aTunde Adjuah. A newschool jazz record from New Orleans trumpeter Christian Scott. This is seriously awesome. It takes hints both from the old jazz that comes from his hometown, and newer genres like hip hop and rock. The guitar is rifftastic, the rhythm section frantic, and the trumpet is fantastic. Reminds me at times of Miles Davis' A Tribute To Jack Johnson. It's only downside is its length, he should have cut it down some. That's okay though, it just means that there's more jazz for longer!

Found this for a couple bucks about a month ago. One of the best purchases I've made in quiet some time. It's always in my rotation.
