Porcupine is really making me wonder why Echo and the Bunnymen weren't even more popular than they were. Maybe it was their dumb name. It kinda sucks, though, that they've fallen under the radar in recent times. I mean, who talks about the Bunnymen anymore?

Recent times? How about ever since the 80s. Great band, though...:

Check out Techno Animal and Rubber Room. Similar sort of sound.

Let's just say I've listened to Can't Maintain twice already today. It's pretty great. Haven't heard good folky-punk in awhile

Never heard the latter, shall check them out. "Brotherhood of the Bomb" is an insane album.

O'Death—Outside
Checked this band out because of Pete mentioning them in his old Gothic Country thread. Great album! The style sort of reminds me of Modest Mouse's more country tinged moments in a weird way.

It's definitely worth checking out. Not only is it really good, but it's perfect fall music.

Hiroyuki Oda - Thirty

Really awesome uplifting trance. It's nothing revolutionary but it's damn nice.
