Really that good? He isn't a better lyricist than El-P or Aesop, so what is it that majesty the album so good?

Yes. In my opinion. It is. And also, I hold Nas in much higher regard than El-P and Aesop especially in the lyrical department.
It just seems to be the perfect mix of hip-hop, there are club bangers, there are dark honest pieces analysing growing up and his careers trials and tribulations, really sincere and truthful pieces and some well placed guest spots. Best work he's done (solo, I like Distant Relatives) this century. And miles ahead of C4C (I haven't heard Skelethon yet, but I'm not a massive fan Aesop's hyperbole) |

Very sure I will love this album, but I am also sure that I will not prefer it to the other albums mentioned.
