Yay! :) That's such a good album. Their previous album Hate Ashbury is also pretty great too.

'Heavy in the Day' by Canterbury

This is the second album from this young UK rock band and it's seeing them move away from the electro side and go a bit more heavy rock. They're first album Thank You is free to download and that's how I first got into them. They will be supporting Deaf Havana on tour later this year.

of course it's not a substitute for the original

you still need to listen to the first one, at least, before getting this

only then you'll appreciate how much better it sounds with modern technology

I'm a big fan of the original, so this should be cool.

Ty Segall Band - Slaughterhouse (2012)
An awesome loud, fuzzed-out garage rock album. The production is almost perfect for this type of music, in that it's far from perfect and lends a ragged, chaotic and energetic feel to the music. It's a fun album to listen to and I'm pretty sure that 'Diddy Wah Diddy' was improvised on the spot in the studio. Great stuff.
