Low - I Could Live In Hope (1994)

This album is so bleak and depressing it should come with some kind of warning message. The whole album feels like it's draining your emotions and taking you to a place with no light whatsoever. It's hard to know whether the cover of 'Sunshine' at the end is meant to cheer you up or finish you off but at the end you can't help but feel miserable. I might listen to some Codeine to cheer me up.

Right now, I'm in love with Bon Iver's second album. I've listened to it three times today. Every track is simply beautiful.

wow....at first i was skeptical.....for shame\...i should be flogged 39 times with a cat o nine tails!

the inclusion of Trevor Dunn on stand up bass with bow.....was possibly the best idea they've had since Buzz picked up a guitar

this is classic Melvins with a shitload of weirdness!!!!!

Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure
This is Roxy Music's best album. They really took art rock to higher terrotories with 'For Your Pleasure'. It would've been awesome to see where the band would continue before Eno split to do his own thing.

Rush - Clockwork Angels
This is incredible. I never thought that this band would continue to pump out more consistant material. Seeing what has happend to other classic progressive bands catelogue, this album holds it's own with classic Rush. One of the best in there catelogue for sure.

Good, maybe Rush can pick me up because the Smashing Pumpkins sure didn't do it.

You hear that, Billy? I needed you to stop with all your crap and release a good album. YOU FAILED ME
