Still doing Death Metal proud. I feel like a kid back in '89 listening to this. More Retro Metal goodness. Graveyard:

Currently digging: Mastodon - Remission Never really checked out their debut before, and I am glad I went for their newer stuff first, because I don't particularly like this album all that much. It's good, but nowhere near their other albums in my view.

The emcee for that group, Gift of Gab, dropped a new album this year called The Next Logical Progression. It's pretty good and sounds A LOT like a Blackalicious release. I'm hoping they put out a new album this year because it's been 7 years since they dropped The Craft and we're well overdue for another one.

Blood Orange - Coastal Grooves One of the most interesting albums I've heard in a while. This guy blends chillwave, R&B, and surf rock with a Chinese theme. It's addictive and all I can say is you have to listen to it to get an accurate idea of what is going on here. Check out one of the best tracks on the album: Blouse - Blouse If you like early Cure stuff, you'll probably like this.

Mr. Mutha****in Exquire - Lost In Translation
Cannot believe I only just got round to this. Loved the Huzzah remix for ages, but totally forgot about the album. It's not mind blowing, but I do enjoy it quite a lot to be honest. Exquire is a very solid MC and his topics range from hilarious to socially conscious, which is all good.
