Currently digging: http://www.rankopedia.com/CandidatePix/70217.gif Mastodon - Remission Never really checked out their debut before, and I am glad I went for their newer stuff first, because I don't particularly like this album all that much. It's good, but nowhere near their other albums in my view. |

mediocre at best |
Yeah, have to agree. By the end of it I was just pretty bored and wanted it to end. That didn't happen with their other releases that I have listened to.

Blood Orange - Coastal Grooves One of the most interesting albums I've heard in a while. This guy blends chillwave, R&B, and surf rock with a Chinese theme. It's addictive and all I can say is you have to listen to it to get an accurate idea of what is going on here. Check out one of the best tracks on the album: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-DcgeYCxD-W...e+-+Blouse.jpg Blouse - Blouse If you like early Cure stuff, you'll probably like this. |
Mr. Mutha****in Exquire - Lost In Translation
Cannot believe I only just got round to this. Loved the Huzzah remix for ages, but totally forgot about the album. It's not mind blowing, but I do enjoy it quite a lot to be honest. Exquire is a very solid MC and his topics range from hilarious to socially conscious, which is all good. |

No matter how good they might be they're already tarnished for me because of this....... |
