When I had the album on vinyl there was no 'Charged GBH' on the cover. They will always be plain old GBH to me and it still sounds like walking on cracked chavs heads with jack boots. Lovely.

Never had heard of them, but really cool alternate rock. So far my favorite Squarepusher album h[TR]ip hop at its finest imo, will have banging your head in no time. |

Air - Le Voyage Dans La Lune I think Air does a great job when they have a focus. That's very clear with this album. While still not as great as some of their earlier work (it's hard to top 10,000 Hz Legend or Talkie Walkie) its DEFINITELY better than some of their later work (which just tends to drone on pointlessly while taking old ideas and trying to pass them off as new). This actually sounds fresh and despite a few boring patches (that I'm sure were just meant to fit the narrative of the film), I think they should keep heading in this direction. It also makes me want to watch the remastered film as well. I saw the original, and it's pretty creative despite being more than 100 years old...I think this soundtrack could add a new element to it.

Godspeed You! Black Emperor-F#A#∞
This is now tied with Takk... as my favorite post-rock album. It's ****ing beautiful. Ufomammut-Lucifer Songs And this is an awesome stoner metal album, where the only actual problem IMO is that it's too short. Thanks for mentioning these guys in one of your journals, Janszoon! Listening to Labor Days at the moment, then Oneirology, pretty tough to top.

Grimes - Visions This album is probably my favorite so far of 2012. I can't stop listening to it. It's crazy electro pop indie, but the vocal hooks in this are AMAZING. I love this girl's high pitched voice, too.
