And yes, I love that album as well. I hate to say it, but going along with what Janz said...Rush is another band with consistently questionable album covers. Moving Pictures is one of the few that are passable.

Kendrick Lamar - Section.80 There is something very appealing about this album. There's nothing all that special about it, but he manages to make some very catchy tunes. For example, I can't put my finger on why I like this track but I keep listening to it:

The best track on that album is Rigamortis in my opinion.
And I think it is harsh to say there isn't anything that special about the album, because I think the fact that you listen to it all the way through and enjoy it as a listening experience is something not often found in the genre of Hip Hop, which makes it special. Probably in my Top 5 Hip Hop releases of 2011. Africa HiTech - 93 Million Miles Great mix of African rhythm and electronic elements.

The Field - Looping State of Mind An electronic album that is pretty much all about what it's name suggests...a load of looping ambient/chill tracks. What this album does right, though, is it completely morphs those loops into a song that becomes like an evolving creature. Not much about the songs changes, but enough does so that the way you feel about them does. If a bit strikes you as boring, just wait a minute...it will probably start making sense. Damn good album.

Loop - Heaven's End (1987) Been getting my kicks out of this album over the past week or so. This is a serious psychedelic headfuck of an album. I love albums that are spacey and hypnotic yet still sound scuzzy and menacing. Some people label them a Spacemen 3 clone but I think they were unique.
