I love the Cranberries.

But don't post ads. This is bad.

Apologies, I was trying to post the album cover. I'm a bit new to this.

Clams Casino - Instrumental Mixtape

I wasn't sure how this would turn out... this guy's beats sound great with a rapper (for those who don't know he produces for ASAP Rocky) but on his own, who knows. He takes a few more liberties when there's no one rapping over his tracks and the result is really damn good. Relaxing and smooth one minute and quite tense the next... Im more of a fan of Clams than ASAP at this point.

I'm really excited to check this out, I just recently started listening to Of Montreal, started with Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer?, then I went back to Cherry Peel and The Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy, I really enjoyed the latter. I guess those are the three albums I have in high rotation. Im very thankful for having been turned onto Of Montreal.

Buckethead just released a new album. It's apparently a follow-up to Electric Tears. Even not Buckethead fanatics seem to love the mellowness of Electric Tears, so perhaps the same can be said about this record, Electric Sea (2012). I know he's been in a bit of a sad mood. I believe he lost someone in the family and/or fell ill for a while and was stuck in bed for a month, but I can't be quoted on either of those. That's just what I've heard. The album is very mellow, but almost obviously a bit sad. Highlight of the album for me so far is the track Bachethead.

But here are some others that are great. In fact, I love the whole album already, as I expected I would be.

Buckethead is really Baching out on a couple tracks...

Edit: So La Gavotte is a Bach cover, and Bachethead is the same track but Bucketheadized or some such...

Windy & Carl - Drawing Of Sound (1996)
A really beautiful ambient drone album from a husband and wife duo. It strikes a perfect balance, being experimental and spacious yet still memorable and easy to latch on to. I've got to hear more from these guys.

I'm really digging Vehicle from mirthKon at the moment, I really love the instrumentality of it all, even if the singing does get a bit tiresome.

Zappa would be proud.
