A close second to this one would be another of theirs that came out in 2007, Hvarf - Heim, which has a second disc of live tracks, and I have to say they do a great job live.

Another album that I will always, always love would be Fugazi's 13 Songs. So good. So very good. I don't even need to say more.

I have also been into a The Notwist kick for a while, I absolutely love Neon Golden. I really respect their talent, I mean German is their first language, yet they write so well in English. I really appreciate that kind of talent.
Fugazi- excellent choice and as for The Notwist; I'm a big big fan. They started out as a Hardcore Punk band too!

You know I did hear about that, I had to Wiki them to see where they were from when I first heard them, I knew that the singer had an accent. Do you know if it's possible to hear the first things they've recorded? Or the hardcore stuff, anyways?

Yeah. I have their discography and may help you with a few pointers

Screaming Trees - Dust (1996)

Great alternative rock album, Lanegan's finest and last with the Trees.

Psychic Ills - Dins (2006)

An acidic journey. Just one long hallucination after another.

Steve Reich - Music for 18 Musicians (1998)

Absolutely stunning composition. The rhythmic palpitations follow the work all the way through. It's difficult to separate one part from another, but that's what makes it so cohesive, so deliciously appealing.

Gary Wilson - You Think You Really Know Me (1977)

Every pedophile's unrealized potential lies in the crazy script offered by the lecherous man known as Gary Wilson. Mildly disturbing, mildly erotic, but fully entertaining.

The fact that Patrick manages to channel all my favorite artists in this album really freaks me out.

Before bands such as Evanesence and Lacuna Coil were hitting it big, the real deal was already there and better. Superb Female led atmospheric Metal:

also checkout Ambeon for similar yet a little more folk influenced sound. Both bands were Dutch.

Thanks to Kirby, some of the best hip hop production I've heard. The rapping is solid too.
