Oh, brilliant! They do look like the realized versions of some of those pieces.

Wow!

It seems like he's even come to influence Terry Gilliam...that's impressive.

Yep, there was actually a lawsuit about that.

Downloaded this album last night, and I have been listening to it on repeat ever since. To be honest, I'm a bit ashamed that I haven't discovered this earlier...

An extremely catchy jazz album. Highly recommended.

It's going on my best of the year list. I love their quirky moments...like when they start singing about being a lonely alligator. For some reason it seems so...right.

And thanks those pics of the other buildings are friggin cool! I was wondering where this cover art came from...

It is a crazy album. Really Beatles-esque at times, or what The Beatles would have been if they went down a more funky road, especially this track...

Top class LP.

The Black Angels - Phosphene Dream (2010)

Just checked it out on a whim when it was posted on one of our vinyl threads. Kind of shoegaze meets neo-psychedelic guitar driven rock. It's not really indicative of my musical tastes, but I'm really finding the haunting organ and the reverb laden guitar quite intoxicating. I'm also anticipating the music hunting tangent that it's inducing. I'm thinking of checking out some BMRC next, also new to me.

Whoops, Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Thank you for the tip.
