A less coherent offering that we're used to seeing from Tha Beat Konducta, but still a remarkably example of the producer in his prime. Madlib plucks intricate hooks, sources immaculate samples, and crafts enigmatic loops to produce a solid array of unique remixes. His subjects include Frank 'n Dank, AZ, Q-Tip, Ghostface, and many more, but the songs don't really flow as well as they you'd hope. It's got some great standalone tracks, and some insane interludes, but not the masterwork that Jackson's other concept-oriented albums provide.

Dead Can Dance - Within the Realm of a Dying Sun
Someone peaked my interest in this group again. Forgot how much I love this album.

Fantastic album this one. It really is a mixture of all those genres, but it flows effortlessly through them. "Disturbed" was very moving.

i'm glad you're enjoying it.....i have to agree about "Disturbed"....i love how the abrupt ending works so well with they lyrics

i'm still really digging this album....i love the song "Blatchford"....just the repetive nature of it works to well with the lyrics...plus the jarring mid section

Suicide - The Second Album
Cluster/Harmonia
Pale Saints - In Ribbons

All lovely. I prefer Suicide's second album to their first, to be honest.

Araabmuzik - Electronic Dream

This has got to be some of the most satisfying electronic music I have heard in a long time. Incredibly atmospheric but still very danceable...this is addicting stuff. One of the best albums I've heard all year.

Serious contender for my AOTY. Far exceeds The Reminder and Let it Die, easily her most consistent and grandiose release yet. If I had to compare it to anything this year I'd put it against PJ Harvey. Excellent, very pleased.
