Lupe Fiasco- LASERS
Activist Music for the "all of the above" and the "underground"! Catchy, yet still has those strong, outspoken roots! If you haven't seen the album cover, you have to! LOSERS(with an "Anarchist's A" through the "O"). Spelling "LASERS". Come on'! Thats awesome! Key Tracks 1.Words I Never Said-....Activists rise up! 2.Break The Chain- Rap+Pop+Electronic! The best mesh of all of them. Talib Kweli- Gutter Rainbows Hip-Hop. Pure. I like all kinds, but this just feels...oh so clean. Key Tracks 1.Cold Rain- THE example of the clean sound I speak of Death Cab For Cutie-Codes and Keys From the sounds of it....I'm going to buy it! The music videos look classy and sharp as well. Key Tracks - 1. You are a Tourist-Ahh, like cool water in the morning. Morning Motivator! 2. Codes and Keys- Classic Death Cab feel! 3. Doors Unlocked and Open- Another classic! Very gloomy moody. My Starving Lion -Odyessy (Pre-Release) Found out about them on here. Since I last read that thread, apparently they have pre-released an album titled "Odysesy" with 4 or so tracks. Their website plays at least one track that isnt on Youtube. Really great pop/electronic album from the looks of it. I can see alot of tracks from the album ending up on the infamous top 40 chart. But I think it has more substance than most that get up and do their usual 1-3 month run and tumble back down. Key Tracks (from whats released so far)- 1. *Whatever plays on their website home page(after the cover page)* 2. Summer Skies: love the carefree feel+lyrics. Simple and goooood. 3. Ticker Tape Parade: Death Cab's-"Marching Bands of Manhattan" type of message. Epitome of "throw a festival" type love. Fun track! |

True Widow - As High As The Highest Heavens And From The Center To The Circumference Of The Earth (2011) A really good sludgy-sounding alternative rock album. There's some shoegaze and stoner-rock influences thrown in and the male and female vocals compliment each other very well. For a three-piece they can create a nice big noisy yet melodic sound. Another great release in 2011.

ummm that's just an album cover why don't you list the name of it and the artist? it's not like the cover is so obvious that everyone should automatically know what it is.

I saw the file name but I didn't go the extra mile to google that file name and find out the band's name.
