Agreed. The second half really disappoints me, actually. The first half is so damn good that it confuses me every time I listen to it. Kevin Barnes must have gotten bored or something.

Mount Kimbie - Crooks & Lovers Some nice soulful, R&B twinged down tempo business with a bit of dubstep thrown in for good measure. Even though It dabbles in some diverse electronica sub-genres throughout the record, it still manages to be a really cohesive album that's great to listen to from start to finish.
Scuba - Triangulation Dark, intelligent breakbeat/house/trance? I read a review that called it dubstep, but I only got that at certain points. I really like it though. |
