And Suishou no Fune looks very intriguing.

Here's a few for me...

Powderburns - Powderburns

I remember I found them somewhere cause they were compared to Talulah Gosh, who they sound absolutely nothing like, but I think they were in a similar scene. Good heavy rock from the 90s that's like the punkier side of shoe gaze with a guy shouting for vocals.

Liars - They Were Wrong, So We Drowned

This is definitely one of my favorite Liars albums, I actually didn't hear it for the first time until this week. Wish I had discovered it before!

Red Garland - All Kinds of Weather, Red Garland Quintet with John Coltrane - Dig It!

I have a new favorite jazz musician. Red's a monster on piano, I've been eating up everything by him the last few weeks. Very glassy solos, and a chord playing style that reminds me of Bill Evans with very rich chords. That album with John Coltrane completely blew my mind. It also helped me realize hard bop is what I like most.

It's Spirit's debut self-titled that was released in 1968. Fantastic psychedelic/early prog album.

Awesome album! I was on a Spirit rampage last week, played the first 4 albums about 3 times each. Very solid material, too bad so few seem to know about them.

Spirit is one of those bands I always mean to check out, but somehow never do. There's always something else to be heard first. Until someone reminds me of them again.

I love that album. It was the first one I heard from them.

I've been digging this album alot. I have always kinda liked TWDY but their older stuff hasn't been that interesting when compared to some other bands in the genre. But this album is just amazing. I love the new dronier TWDY alot. I hope they come to play in Finland soon so I can experience this album live.

A couple of years ago I finally started listening to The Kinks. I got addicted pretty quickly and they have been the #1 band on my last.fm chart for some time now. That's not to say they are my favorite band, just that I've enjoyed them a ton over the past 3-4 years.
