It's absolutely stunning, I don't know why I didn't get into it before.

Favorite tracks: The Shape Of Punk To Come, Worms Of The Sense/Faculties Of The Skull, New Noise

Marcos Valle - Previsao do Tempo

Brazilian popular music. This took a while to find. His earlier releases, like Braziliance! was brilliant instrumental - bossa nova stuff. This one is really funky and when filled with catchy infectious songs like This, It's hard to stop listening .

The Lounge Lizards - s/t (1981): Avant-garde jazz group, active in the '80s and '90s. Solid record.

T. Rex - Electric Warrior (1972): My first foray into Mark Bolan's work; it was immensely enjoyable.

Clutch - s/t (1995): Hardcore stoner rock band makes for a great listen. Neil Fallon is a crazy motherf*cker.

The Durutti Column - Vini Reilly (1989): Post-punk artist leans into ambient stylings with this record. Beautiful album.

Of Montreal: Skeletal Lamping

My album of the year.

Patrick Wolf: The Magic Position

Still amazing.

David Bowie: Hunky Dory

I don't want to hear it Urban.

Stephin Merritt: Pieces of April

One of the most brilliant minds to ever step into pop music. This soundtrack (for a bad movie) takes a bunch of songs (from great albums) to create a clumsy yet beautiful mix.

I've been listening to this alot recently... I really don't care much for VU's other releases but, there's something about this album that keeps me coming back for more.

Even though Is A Real Boy kicks the **** out of this, I still like it despite it's length and the fact that they went a little overboard with all the guest appearances.

Favorite Tracks: People Like You..., No Soul, Shiksa (Girlfriend), Hangover Song, Skinny Mean Man, Surgically Removing the Tracking Device, An Insult To The Dead

Tool - Ænima

Simply phenomenal. That's all I'll say.

Favorite Songs: Hooker With A Penis, Stinkfist, Eulogy, Ænema
