Kevin Coyne - Marjory Razorblade
Absolutely superb album. Coyne has this pained, unhinged style to his blues guitar compositions, with a voice that's often heartbreaking. Here's a vid of him playing a track from the album; House on the Hill, live. So good. Last edited by Sneer; 03-27-2011 at 11:17 PM. |

be careful, i call it deep house, but i don't think that's the "official" name for it. i just find it to be a fitting name for this style of downbeat music...

On a side note, I'm not at all a fan of the vocals.

Paul Baribeau - S/T
Thanks to Charlemagne for turning me on to this guy. He makes really simple, heartfelt, and depressing anti folk. "Tablecloth" Quote:

... Animals as Leaders - S/T Just heard about these guys, very good. All instrumental prog rock, always welcome. Gets pretty heavy at times, I hear some Meshuggah in there... |
