Just found a leak of Timber Timbre's new album Creep on Creepin' On. Just what I wanted from the band. It's a little fuller than their self titled, but still holds onto the same simple haunted atmosphere as the first. In fact, if anything, it's spookier. Great album, check it out it's released in a week and a half.

Sigur Rós - Takk...
Very cool post-rock/ambient album. The vocals fit perfect on top of the soft music.

Ólafur Arnalds - Eulogy for Evolution
Another Icelandic artist, can be called ambient I guess. Very cool album.

My favorite of the three, yet another Icelandic artist. There's something special about this one. Listen to it.

Highly reccommend all three if you like post-rock and or ambient.

Burial / Thom Yorke / Four Tet

Ego / Mirror

major props to canwll for pointing this out to me. this is probably my favorite release of the year. I feel like this is the kind of music Thom really wants to be making.

PS @ canwll: have you heard burial's new EP?

I'm really digging Bayside's "Killing Time" I think sonically it sounds awesome. Everything comes out nice and clear. The songs pack a good punch, and they are delievered well. Just everything about it screams album of the first quarter, and possibly album of the year for me.

been digging into the Pink Floyd discography, past the usual suspects (Dark Side, Animals, Wish You Were Here, and Piper). Am quite satisfied.

It was good, and I'll give those albums some more time later on, but DSOTM is still my favorite. I'm so boring.

Downloaded this today: absolutely love it.

Iron Maiden's Brave New World

A really well put-together metal album. Love the Aldous Huxley reference.

Eminem's The Eminem Show

Eminem was at the top of his game with this album. Great lyricism and delivery.
