Yes, I highly recommend them. I've bought 3 and I like every single one of them. I wouldn't say they're all that hypnotic, but a lot of the music carries a sort of hazy vibe that's very reminiscent of it. I'll listen through them sometime this week and maybe PM you on which one I think you would like the most.

Thanks, that would be nice. So every disc features different kind of music, right - jazz, traditional, modern, popular etc. That's how I understood it anyway. Jazz and traditional is what attracts me the most I must admit...ethno-jazz actually.

Emphemetry - A Lullaby Hum for Tired Streets

Huge thanks to CanwllCorfe for discovering this, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite albums for spacing out on overcast days or just relaxing in my room alone

No, it's folksy posty rock with a British (?) dude singing dreamy vocals.

Very very nice, will be getting this. I got so lost with the music and the image I could have sworn the clouds were moving!

Yep I would classify it as very traditional, ethno-jazz. That's pretty much right on the mark. Every album of the series consists of just that, I think, although I haven't listened to all of them (that would take some time!). You can definitely hear folk elements in the music which is interesting though. It sort of put me on a quest to hear Ethiopian folk/traditional music and see how the musical progression worked out.

Oh and I sent you a pm with a link, I think you'll like the album.

This is honestly one of the best screamo albums I've listened to. I can't stop listening, I'm fucking killing this album.

"Imperfect But Ours" is ironically one of the most perfect screamo songs I've ever listened to:

From 3:38 is the pinnacle of perfection.
