Robyn-Body Talk Part 1
An enjoyably trashy piece of Europop goodness, with Dancing On My Own being Cee-Lo's only rival for Track Of The Year

I'd seen it a couple times on here, and never knew what it was. And wow. It's damn near perfect. Slow, soft, dreamy, and sad. If anyone has more stuff like this I'd appreciate it.

Anglagard - Hybris

Stone cold 90's prog. classic that I've been giving quite a few spins as of late: those Scandinavians really know their way around crafting wonderful sonic atmospheres to let your mind get lost in...

I recently downloaded this album too, it's fantastic.

Have you heard Red House Painters and Low?
They're two of the big/best Slowcore bands.
Red House Painters' Rollercoaster is fantastic, quite possibly the saddest album ever written.

Consider it mine.

And lately I've been digging Xasthur's Subliminal Genocide.

When I was researching it I was shocked to see that Pitchfork had actually reviewed it. I had no idea they reviewed stuff like this. Even more shocking was the fact that they gave it the same rating as Lady Gaga's Fame Monster. But maybe that shouldn't be surprising? I'm not sure of what their reputation is. Regardless, it's an amazing album. So dark, so engrossing. I love it.

You might want to check out some other slowcore artists. Also Carissa's Wierds Jenn Ghetto has a great solo project called S

Add on Spokane, Codeine and Rivulets. Amazing bands.

Oh and CanwllCorfe, definitely get their other stuff man (Carissa's Wierd I mean). You Should Be At Home Here is pretty impeccable as well.

White Birch is pretty good as well.

And as much as I like Carissa's Wierd, I've never really been all that enthralled by S.

Oh I intend to!

And while I'm here..

The White Birch - Star is Just a Sun

Hadn't listened to it in awhile, but now is a fitting time. It matches the cold winter weather quite perfectly.
