Plus his music sounds so American he might as well be a Yank.

Yeah man, Neil Young was totally all about putting Americans up on pedestals and patting them on the back. Just listen to those lyrics! Might as well be one! ...

I think it would be cool to see more people posting videos of songs from the albums that they're digging in this thread, not so much for the same reason that it's kind of compulsory in the what are you listening to right now? II thread, but because this thread is really one of the better ones on the forum when it comes to picking up on new music.

Personal preferences aside, between What's the Last Album You Bought or Downloaded?, What Are You Listening to Right Now? II, and this thread, this is the thread that really filters through the good, the bad and the ugly and gets to what's worth chasing after. It also represents the best of what everyone has been discovering lately and also allows other members to really see where you are right now musically.

I know a lot of members already post videos along with their responses in this thread, but it would be cool to see it happening a lot more often. It beats searching on Youtube every time you get the feeling you might like something that someone else is really about.

I don't know. I wasn't talking about pedestals, I meant the music. And there's plenty of great anti - American American artists.
