Yeah, you managed to miss the whole The Suburbs debate by a few months. It was good times. They are 2 very good albums though.

Typically those people that are always bashing music critics annoy me, but **** Robert Christgau. His entire review for this album was "Jive Dr. John? Yes, jive Dr. John." And he gave it a D.

How do you feel about Neon Bible, is it worth getting?

I don't understand. Did you not just say you thought the other 2/3rds of their discography was "fantastic"? Why would you not check out Neon Bible?

Well I've heard quite a few people say that it's not as good as the other two, so I figured I'd at least ask for some opinions here before I spend $25 on the album.

I think the album gets a bad rap. I actually really like it a lot, but I think you'll find that's not the major consensus.

Yeah I buy pretty much all my albums. I try downloading but it's just not the same for me.

Ok thanks. I'm still not quite sure that I'll get it because I've heard 3 or 4 songs on the album and the only one I like is No Cars Go, but I'll check out some more songs and if I like some I'll probably get it.

No Cars Go is on their self-titled EP too, and it's a much better version of the song IMO.
