The Electric Prunes - I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night One of the best 60's psychedelic records around. With a lot of psych records of the time, there are usually a couple excellent tracks and then a bunch of mediocre stuff that I spend a lot of time trying to get into. This is one of the most consistent records of the decade, nearly every song is good.

Smog - The Doctor Came at Dawn (1996) This is the Smog album I keep coming back to ever since I've first heard it, somewhere in the late 90s. Those familiar with Smog (Bill Callahan) maybe know what to expect, but this album especially is so stripped down that we almost hear Callahan's soul, laid bare in front of us. Come to think of it, this cover art is perfect for this moody, simple, lo-fi music. The opening track, 'You Moved In', is the strongest, imo: Who ever uploaded it, obviously loved those last words of the song, cause he/she made sure we hear them twice.
