I downloaded this album during the summer but i never really gave it much of a chance, i was kind of put off by the vocals at first. But lately i've grown to love it, it's not one of the best albums of the year but it's certainly one of the best debuts. You really have to appreciate the timeless, innocent feel of songs like 'What's In It For?', 'One Last' and 'Where's Your Dirty Mind'. A very memorable album.
What kind of music is it?

It's indie rock but there's a heavy Neil Young influence on their sound.

Check out this song

Ghost - Opus Eponymous
I don't know how to explain this album. Its like a doomy-psychedelic rock record with some poppy tendencies. Anyway, if you're a fan of doom metal or psychedelic rock or just open minded towards whatever I suggest this album. It was just released this year and is no doubt one of my favorite albums of the year. The songs just get stuck in my head and play over and over.

Thanks for the heads-up! I never "loved" this album but always liked it, so I'll check out any new stuff they put out.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

I think I'll check this out. Reminds me a bit of The Shins, with a bit more whiny voice. A little shaky like early Issac Brock too. We'll see.

Been on a bit of a Pulp binge lately, hadn't played this album in quite a while.

About a year ago I gave this album a listen and didn't care for it. Right now it's fantastic despite not knowning what is being sung without a translation. Very good album just the right thing if you're having a bad day
