Queen - Jazz (1978): Most definitely my favorite Queen album (so far) and a great accomplishment. Really showcases Brian May's spectacular guitar work and makes me regret not getting into Queen sooner.

Danger Mouse and Jemini - Ghetto Pop Life (2003): I knew there was a reason I wanted this so bad. Got it a few days ago and it's been on repeat since. My 3rd favorite Danger Mouse collab. :D

Horse Feathers - Words Are Dead (2006): Pleasant indie-folk album. Doesn't really explore anything too much but it's certainly a soothing listen.

The Fall:
Hex Enduction Hour

...Wow. I had a compilation of The Falls that got me into them, I picked up "Saving Grace", which is kind of overrated and tough to listen to (although I like it), but this is great. This is the album I wanted to hear from The Fall, one that I can listen to front to back without too many low points.
Righteous Jams: "The Classical", "Hip Priest", "Winter"

The Soft Boys
Underwater Moonlight

This is really great as well, I've known "I Wanna to Destoy You" for a while, and to tell you the truth Ive been meaning to pick this up for a year-and-a-half or so. Im really glad I did, one of those albums with just enough songs you like on the first listen to make you put it on again, and each listen uncovers another track you really like. I think "Tonight" is the best song on here. They have really excellent backup vocals, showcased wonderfully in "Tonight". This may just compel me to delve into Robyn Hitch****'s solo work. Reminds me sort of like a poppier, less technical Television.
Righteous Jams: "I Wanna Destroy You", "Tonight", "I Got The Hots"

Jay Reatard
Blood Visions
I've been on a huge Jay Reatard kick lately, and this completes his discography for me, his first album. It might be my favorite, this is the record I always wanted The Adverts to make. He sounds just like them, only faster and the melodies are stronger. He even covers their song "We Who Wait", and you can really hear the similarities. "Fading All Away" is one of the best songs I've heard all year. Not longwinded either, only 1/2 hour of music over 15 tracks, and if there's one thing I love, its short songs. Its the only thing I like better than long songs.
Righteous Jams: "Death Is Forming", "Fading All Away", "Nightmares"

Hex Enduction Hour is The Fall album of choice by Fall fans.

This Nations Saving Grace is for indie kids & journos who can't stomach the real thing :D

Yeah, I never got why "Saving Grace" was rated so highly. I already knew 'Spoiled Victorian Child' and 'Cruisers Creek', which I love, but when I picked it up there were only like 2 other songs I really loved (Bombast and Couldn't Get Ahead) as opposed to Hex, where I just really love the whole thing. Plus, 'Hip Priest' has always been tied for first place as my favorite Fall song.
