Overrated maybe but still great. I remember liking Halftime but don't remember. I think the other two are overrated maybe simply because people can't be bothered to listen to a whole album when the first few tracks are great.

Anyway, I checked myself and was wrong. Halftime is great as well

None of it's overrated to me. I knew nothing about it before the first time I heard it, so I only have my own impressions to go on. And it's not like I ever hear any of the songs anywhere but coming out of my own speakers.

Dabrye - two/three and one/three

Normally given some ****ty description like 'Future Hop' (Though I can see where they're coming from) they're both pretty great albums all the same. 2/3 utilises a lot of emcees, 1/3 is more instrumental. Both got some pretty great moments either way.

XTC - Skylarking

I always thought this album was just ok, but I put it on last night and had one of those revelatory "this album is the SHIIT" moments. Since I never really thought much about them, I never checked out any other albums. What should I go for next?

same thing happened to me. be sure to grab drums and wires.

Ahh yes, Dabrye. Along with Prefuse 73, these guys pretty much invented glitch hop - probably called future hop at the time.

I was going through my music collection and realized that I had some Hendrix. As cliche of a choice this may seem this is one of the best debut's from the 60's. Great toons!

Didn't even discover these guys until recently, and my mind was blown.
