I suddenly had this compulsive desire to listen to Black Arabs, and seem to have got sucked into it. A heap of shit, but an entertaining heap of shit.

I'm really enjoying both Carlee Hendrix & the Whole Earth Catalog EP's that I got today (The Northbound EP, Snow Cones For A Week). She has a gorgeous voice and the acoustic guitar is so relaxing and well done. Love the lyrics too.

A few albums currently on high rotation at the moment
Yo La Tengo - May I Sing With Me They always manage to sound so humble and laid-back. Ira's vocal style and guitar sounds create a nice bittersweet feel. Sleater-Kinney - Dig Me Out I'm really loving this band lately. This album is certainly one of their best, full of energy, emotion and great songwriting. Pale Saints - The Comforts Of Madness A brilliant album from start to finish, the highlight being the gorgeous 'Sea Of Sound'. This album badly needs a re-master though as it sounds a bit washed-out.
