I love it. It maintains structure while really having some insanely powerful riffs. It's so energetic that it really gets me pumped.
Thats the exact same effect that Scum has on me, and most seem to consider that their best one. |

Man Man - Rabbit Habits
Really glad I went to see these guys live a few weeks ago, truly a great show and I suggest you don't miss them if they come to your town. I really enjoyed watching the drummer and singer, both very charismatic. I d/l'ed this the night after the show and I think this is my 3rd time spinning it. I think so far I like all 3 albums pretty equally, time will tell if a favorite emerges. But right now I'm digging this one. Oh yeah...the song that just started, Top Drawer, is the one during which I remember the floor shaking at the show (first time I felt it shake at this venue). The crowd went wild and was jumping in unison, myself included, having never heard this particular song at the time.

Anyway, I can't stop listening to Black Mountain. I know you guys are probably tired of hearing me rant about it, so here, just listen if you've never heard: |

Same here, that is really good. I've been digging psychedelic music of all kinds recently and that fits perfectly with my mood. I, too, will be checking more of this stuff out.

I've already listened to their self titled since I posted that. It's good. I was expecting more of that kind of sound in the video and instead got a balance between some slower, more experimental art/noise rock kind of stuff and dirty psychedelic rock. Not that it was a let-down though. The mixture of male/female vocals is really good too.
