It's funny I loved that album last year but I hated the vocals. The music was already haunting and depressive enough, the vocals were a little overkill for me. In fact I remember trying to find a program where I could separate all the tracks from each other and remove the vocals and just leave it as instrumentals.

^^ Really? I have the opposite view, because I think the vocals are what solidifies the album and makes it perfect. But the vocals are really painfully depressing though, so I can see where you're coming from. Then again, it is DSBM, lol

This is fantastic. I love the blood rushing feeling he gives me within the first half of the set, it makes me want to do cocaine, shoot my girlfriend, and run from the police.

Cocteau Twins - Garlands

Gloomy, sickly, fresh and ethereal. Yes please.

^^^^^That's my favorite Cocteau Twins album. Whenever I feel like listening to them, I put that one on.

This is a very good album. I like Liars quite a bit, they're becoming one of my favorite bands of this past decade.

It's a great album, Elizabeth Fraser has a brilliant voice.

Primal Scream - Xtrmntr (2000)

Again... Holy. Fucking. Shit.

This album kicks so much ass its feet permanently smell of fart. It's funky, catchy, poppy, rough, crude (at times), insightful, and many other adjectives. I can't believe I slept on this album for so long.
