That looks like the obscured by clouds album cover above

Agree to disagree I think the production on here is great and it still sounds fresh despite it being almost 30 years. It definatley does hold up. |

Fade to Black though, is quite amazing.

Gorillaz - Gorillaz Really relaxing, actually. Much better than Plastic Beach. http://images.uulyrics.com/cover/f/f...m-hot-rats.jpg Frank Zappa - Hot Rats Some of the best modern instrumental music I've ever heard |

(Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me, in case you were living under a rock a few years ago) This is such a fall/early winter album its kind of ridiculous, right down to the cover. I find I rarely listen to it March-August, but I've busted it out about this time of year three years running now. |

Scream (Ozzy Osbourne)
Crucify is my favorite single YouTube - Ozzy Osbourne Crucify
I like Gus G's (Ozzy) style guitar and Tommy Clufetos on drums, Adam Wakeman on keyboards who is also one of the writers on four songs from the album along with Osbourne and Kevin Churko. My other two favorite singles from the album are, YouTube - Ozzy Osbourne - Fearless (lyrics) Ozzy used a guitar riff from Audioslave on this one, YouTube - Ozzy Osbourne - I Want It More (New Song! Scream Album) One of the the more popular single's, YouTube - Ozzy Osbourne - Let Me Hear You Scream |

Nils Frahm and Anne Muller - 7fingers Modern classical/Electronic Wow... I've been cranking this album all week and I still can't get enough. It is a bit tough to get into because sometimes the decisions between the two genres are abrasive, such as at the start of the title song. They don't quite meld the expectations of the two genres beautifully - but that's what makes it great. It isn't a pitch perfect combination between the two but they work together amazingly. It's so easy to differentiate between the sounds but that makes it more interesting. As the album progresses it get's more and more clear but the build up to that point is amazing. It eventuates into a post-rocky style ignoring all the requirements for 'rock' music, but it is still handled well. Great, consistent album. Highly recommended. |
I'm not sure if you heard of The Echelon Effect, but he combines Post Rock and Electronica with some strings here and there.. and my god it's gorgeous. Jacaszek and Jóhann Jóhannsson may be worth checking out if you haven't already as well.

As to Jacaszek, my new lastfm username is inspired by a song off his best album, Treny (Easy top 10 album) Niesmiertelnosc |
