Kenichiro Nishihara - Humming Jazz I saw this recommended around here somewhere and checked it out...this is awesome! It has some of the smoothest jazz piano mixed with hip hop and r&b I've ever heard. Thanks to whoever posted about this!

Bibio-Ambivalence Avenue
This album is captivating. Folk-rock ish style with wonderful samples and production. Give it a shot if you haven't yet!

^ Hell yes that is a great album. The first few times I played it, I didn't really see the big deal. But it's grown on me in a big way, one of my favorite discoveries of the last 12 months. To call it "folk-rock is style" doesn't really do it justice and could turn some people off...it's a very electronic album as well. Fans of both could really enjoy it.

^^ agreed, tis a great album!
about the calling it "folk-rockish"...i definitely wouldn't solely call it that because like sidewinder said, it is very electronic too. to me, i would more so say that Bibio blended elements of both together. and boy did he ever do it well!

^ I added that to my wishlist when you first mentioned it, Pete, but haven't checked it out yet. Nice to see so many other people like it.
Medications - Completely Removed Um, yes please! This is very enjoyable. I guess you could say it's more accessible than their first album, but I'm digging it right off the bat. It rocks and it's catchy!

Checked out The Big Echo, but I just love this album so much more. Not to say that The Big Echo isn't a good album, because it surely is, but this just really hits the proverbial spot
