They don't really push the genre forward on this album, but it's probably the most uplifting album I've heard all year.

I've yet to hear it, but it sounds like it would be good

My favorite is Versus God.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Hey, speaking of you and good, loud music, the other day I got a hold of Sodom's "Agent Orange" based on one of your posts from a couple years ago. Great album!
It is one of those forgotten mini classics. Glad you like it. Code Red just after is a great album too. Great power for a trio.

I'm really digging Pod by The Breeders at the minute.

Kim's voice is so special. I really enjoyed how her voice isn't a regular fixture in Pixies, cos it's nice to only hear it every once in a while, but this album is seriously dope. Definitely prefer it to Last Splash which is the only other album of theirs I've heard.

Doe is a killer song.

Ween - Pure Guava

Experimental, Psychedelia, Lo-fi with lyrics that talk about their drug experiences as well as every day things in life. Really great album.

^ The best description I ever heard of that album is that "It's like getting hit in the head with a fruit-covered brick repeatedly for an hour... but in a really good way."

I've been meaning to get into Ween for a while now. Mainly 'cause I know one of the guys contributed towards a few tracks on Songs For The Deaf which is one of my favourite albums, so they've always intrigued me.

Too many bands in the world and not enough ears. I need to book a week off work to listen to some new shit.

Steely Dan-Countdown To Ecstasy
As good as Aja, which is a major accomplishment in itself. It also has Show Biz Kids on it, which makes up for one or two tracks being slightly overlong.

Just STFU and listen to it. It has become one of my favourite albums, usually stuff like that is too experimental for my ears but it was so drug fueled and so different, I just can't NOT like it.
