I'm currently digging Tim Buckley - Lorca This album is really quite excellent, due to the fact that Tim takes his time a lot more than he did on Starsailor. Each piece builds up gradually rather than the sudden, frantic, intense way that they did on Starsailor (which is great in its own right, but I prefer him in this mindset). |

Последние Каникулы - Антон
Wasn't really sure what to expect but I ended up really loving it. Some of the songs are beautiful and soft while others, like Звёзды умрут в своей пустоте, когда солнце увидит закат, really caught me off guard. I mean this song is DARK. So this really covers the bases of what I like. Soft and ethereal one minute, screeching and dark the next. |

What a shame the Manic Street Preachers lost their edge...
I think tonight I am going to listen to an assortment of new downloads I have completed in the last few days...

Never heard these guys back in the day, and only became aware of them fairly recently, but damn this is good. I've always loved the idea of thrash but a lot of thrash albums, even the ones regarded as classics, don't quite seem to meet my expectations in terms of fury and energy. This album delivers in spades. |

Hard to say. I mean I've only heard this one album but it's really good, quite a bit heavier than Anthrax or Megadeth. Stylistically I'd compare it to Hell Awaits-era Slayer. One kind of neat thing about the album also is that the band were all pretty young when they recorded it—all under 20 I think.

Listening to Further by the Chemical Brothers - downloaded it today. Prettydarn solid, if you like their easygoing brand of psychedelic electronica / dance... as I definitely do... wasn't expecting anything mindblowing, but was pleasantly suprised by how darn good and entertaining it all sounds, how all those little sonic details blend nicely into some good, moving pieces of music and the overall feel and vibe of the album. I like it quite alot.

I believe Jackhammer suggested to this 9 who suggested it to me. My God this thing is beautiful. Loving every minute of it.
