Tom Waits - The Heart Of a Saturday Night Warm is probably the best one word I can think of to describe this album. I must have listened to it about 500 times by now. Plus, along with Steely Dan's Aja it's the album responsible for turning me on to a lot of other stuff you could call jazz, so bonus awesome points for it there. |

Cranes - S/t Really beautiful album, perfect to fall asleep to IMO. Her voice may not be the most conventional in all of music but it definitely fits perfectly I think. These guys are definitely worth checking out if you're into dreamy shoegaze type stuff.

Definitely more drone. If you want something closer to psychedelic rock I think you should check out Pink if you haven't already.
