^ I'm listening to Cannonball as we speak. Not the same album, but close enough

Morphine - Cure for Pain (1993) I really wish more alternative rock bands utilized horns more frequently. This is such a good cross of rock and jazz it hurts. Another one of those '90's bands that people often skip over in favour of the usual suspects. Definitely worth your time, especially if you like unique bands. |

I'm currently listening some baroque pop albums and I really dig
Brian Wilson - SMiLE It sounds alot like Pet Sounds; really warm, sunny pop. I personally love it, it suits the weather perfectly. John Cale - Paris 1919 A great pop album. I had never thought that John Cale would've made a pop album after hearing his work with the VU. |

It's actually funny how I found this band. It was from a Norwegian 12-String Acoustic blues signer named Bjorn Berge. He did a cover of it which kicked ass, and when I learned it was a cover I immediately checked out the band. I still think I prefer Berge's cover, but damn it is such a great song. At the end of the day I think either "Thursday" or "Candy" is my favourite song on the album. |

Emmy the Great - First Love The music is pretty solid on its own--the kind of indie-folk-pop that's maybe a little by the numbers but enjoyable nonetheless. Her words are fantastic, though. |
