So...thank you people who actually write a couple sentences about the albums you post here. Otherwise, this may as well be the "last album you bought or downloaded" thread.

If they can't write anything about it there's the last album you bought or downloaded thread and there's the what are you listening to thread.

I think as a bare minimum people should at least say "A great indie-pop record" or a "great dark metal album" or something like that. |

Is it really that difficult to write maybe 3 or 4 lines listing songs you like, or say what made you want to check it out in the first place or give a couple of thoughts about it?
The whole reason this thread was started was because people were bored of just reading endless lists of album titles & cover art and there are still threads where you can do that if you want to. There's nothing wrong with wanting to keep standards.

Between the Buried And Me - Colors It's no secret that I'm pretty biased towards newer metal out of America. No matter what it is I'm almost guaranteed to prefer the metal coming out of the Scandinavian countries or Holland so for this to get a mention shows what an amazing album it is. I've heard it described as "Adult Contemporary Death Metal" and I suppose that is a good way of describing Colors. The album really does go all over the place, from the guttural vocal delivery of death metal to clean crisp melodic vocals and on one song I heard a freakin' banjo! Talk about eclectic. |
