The Clouds - Tranquil
Ok it's not an album but a single. They released this in 1987 and it may be the most perfect 3 tracks of indie-pop i've ever heard. I can't seem to find any other releases from them.

I honestly have no clue what the **** you're talking about, but this is a great album and DT is a genius.

Another good one is...

"You shall fetch me your universe's ultimate cup of coffee, black! You have five Earth minutes. Make it perfect!"

Gravediggaz—6 Feet Deep
I read Wikipedia's description of these guys—"well-known for its dark sense of humor and abrasive, menacing soundscapes"—shortly before getting this album and was surprised to discover that this album is about as far from "abrasive" as you can get. It's actually really chill. Still a great album though.

Great album. Rza definitely knows talent when he sees it.

That cover used to give me nightmares. The idea of having a knife that close to your eye... Errghrhr. Unsettling. Really nice stuff from what I've heard, though.

That cover IS scary.

Been diggin' Christina Aguilera's Bionic recently. It's surprisingly good despite a great deal of songs being dedicated to Christina's pussy cat.

I swear, I had better taste in music as a 14 year old than I did as a 17 year old. I remember buying (or having mommy buy me) Nirvana's greatest hits comp, but only now am I getting back into them. sigh

Haha. Really? The pirate on the right makes me laugh too much for me to really see what would be scary about it.
