As a way to beef up my reggae collection I did some research and found this guy. Damn he's amazing. Definitely the best artist I've found recently in the world of reggae
Tiken Jah Fakoly - L'Africain http://www.discogs.com/image/R-1134966-1194884946.jpeg I was also in the mood for some more World music so I decided to stick with Africa and found http://www.discogs.com/image/R-1593346-1236510738.jpeg Goosebump inducing gorgeousness! |
I love it when I don't listen to an album for a long time and then rediscover it. It's almost like listening for the first time. I just felt the strong desire to listen to kill em all. and it's just as amazing as I remember it being.

I would like that album more if Hetfield didn't sound like a pre-pubescent whiner. |

Maybe that's what I need...I'll give one of their albums a spin soon and see if it clicks with me again. I used to love them while I was in high school

David Bowie - Hunky Dory http://www.corianton.com/tullyblog/u..._hd-718896.jpg It's literally been years since I last listened to more than a handful of songs off this album, which is kinda funny, what with its being fantastic and all that. The man's work in the latter part of the 70s overshadows the earlier stuff like this for me, so I guess that must have something or other to do with it. |

The Divine Comedy-Casanova A thoroughly enjoyable work of smartarse pop, I like it as much as I did 2 years ago when I last heard it. |
