The newer Matisyahu album was ok...definitely eased of the reggae vibe and leaning more towards hip-hop. But still good.

Good man Worth having for King Without a Crown on its own if you ask me.

As for me, I'm just grooving the night away with this little beauty;

Miles Davis - Round About Midnight

I've only had it a couple of weeks now, and already it's the first jazz album that's threatened to become one of my all-time favourite abums. Great album for the jazz novice this.

The soundtracks for the day:

Intense riffs, beautiful melodies, epic solos, and a voice that can portray emotion with a drop of the hat. It's the only Dinosaur Jr. album I have at the moment, but not for long...

The others are a little more self explanatory:

I love me some Bowie

Wow I actually know this one! It seems like every time someone posts an album everyone goes "great choice " or "One of my personal favorites" or "the best of the genre!" and I never even heard of it before.

I don't own any Dinosaur JR, dunno where to start really. I like Beyond, Farm was okay but it was a little too long, people say they were at the best in their 80s so You're Living All Over Me might be a good one or Bug.

Not sure what to get first

I agree what you said about Beyond though, intense riffs etc.
Good album

That's just the beauty of the boards.

Good album
Personally, this was a good place to start. However, I've heard a lot of great things about You're Living All Over Me so either one would probably do you well.

I've heard both a couple of times, just depends which one to actually own. Think I preferred Beyond, not because it's necessarily better. Just easier to get into.. LAOM takes more listens. I'll get them both
