'Advanced Cassette' is my favorite. And to be fair, I still haven't heard Kill the Moonlight, Gimme Fiction, or Tranference. But I think from Girls Can Tell and Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga I have a good idea that only about 30% of their material satisfies me, with an additional 30% falling in the take it or leave it category.

Cane and Able - Cane and Able (1972) Not heard this in a long time, only just ripped it to my hard drive. A nice bit of Funk and Psychedelic Soul. Not great but still enjoyable. |

i am really enjoying john mayer any given thursday right now as well as room for squares. Im gonna be in the studio again and im gonna be going for a room for squares sound with somewhat of a driving sense from any given thursday. A little John Mayer old school. I really am dissapointed with the way he presents himself lately, but man i gotta say, even his new stuff sounds good...

Rolling Stones - Goat's Head Soup http://www.robbierocks.ch/LP%20Cov%2...ead%20soup.jpg Just digging this out since being prompted by that post in Album Reviews. In the shape of 100 Years Ago, Angie, Starfucker and the below song it has four of the Stones' best songs on it. The less interesting moments (gotta say that Coming Down and Winter are pretty crap songs) even it up as a weaker followup to Exile On Main Street though. Still an album I'd recommend to anyone though. |
