I really don't want this thread to get pushed off the first page, it's one of the greatest ways of discovering new music.
Scarling. - So Long Scarecrow Some kickass newer shoegaze/noise pop stuff. If you like either of these genres you'll probably enjoy it, their singer has a good voice. Ratatat - LP3 Always entertaining experimental electronic stuff. Not too sure how to describe this one, but it's always a fun listen. |

I agree...I've found a ton of new music through this thread. This gets my vote for most valuable thread on the site. DJ Shadow - Endtroducing I'm sure I don't need to say much about this one...but it's been getting some decent rotation from me recently. I love it.

Although what would make it better is if people stated why they liked the album, or at least the genre. In case you're not familiar with the band/arist. No point in finding Hop-hop albums on a recommendation if that's a genre you're never gonna be interested in. |

Deftones - Adrenaline
I've been enjoying this one the last few days at the gym. Nice and raw.

Their new one is coming out sometime this year I believe. I really hope it is better than Saturday Night Wrist...it had its moments but I was a bit disappointed.

Wow i've never come across anyone else on MB that listens to them That's a really cool album, 'City Noise', 'Broken Record' and 'Manorexic' are excellent songs. They're releasing their new album in September i think, it should be a cracker

Lights Out Asia-Garmonia Post-rock with vocals is usually pretty hit or miss for me. This one hits big time. It's sort of an electronic ambient style, but it's never dull enough to even come close to fading into the background. The vocals, as I already alluded to, are great IMO, and even though it's over 70 minutes long I never once was bored with it. Great listen and I hope their other two can at least come close to this quality.
