I say this because I saw Citizen Cope live a while ago and they blew. No energy whatsoever.
Really? I saw him about a month and a half ago and he put on a pretty entertaining show. Not what I'd call energetic but still good. The crowd was really into it though, that might have been part of it.

Broken Bells - Broken Bells

This really is quite enjoyable. It might seem a bit too simplistic at first (at least some songs) but they're all sinking in nicely. Actually I was impressed even the first time I played it, aside from the two I'd already heard (one I wasn't too hot about initially, Vaporize), but I wasn't sure how it would all feel down the road. I'm happy to say it's doing well overall, here on my 4th or 5th listen.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Strapping Young Lad - City

I have to admit, I was hesitant to look into this band because of how deeply I loathe other industrial-metal acts like Ministry and Skinny Puppy. Turns out this is way more metal than industrial, the drums have a lot of reverb on them but apart from that it's just a really intense extreme metal album. Devin Townsend is incredible on vocals, especially here.

As a sidenote there's an awesome Cop Shoot Cop cover on the album. Gotta appreciate a fellow Tod A. fan.

That is probably my favourite metal album of all time. I seriously do not think I would have gotten through high school if it wasn't for that album. They only Strapping album with a more blatant industrial sound is their debut album, and it's really not that good. What was your favourite song off it?

Skinny Puppy is not industrial-metal.

I really liked AAA and All Hail the New Flesh, I'll probably give it a few more spins in the future to figure it out, but I think it's safe to say I'll be returning to Devin Townsend eventually.

Augustus Pablo - East Of the River Nile

One of the best things to stick on when you don't really know what you feel like listening to, and the kind of music that just makes you wanna lie down in the sun all day. Probably my favourite ever dub album as well.
