Thanks, already have it though. A couple songs have come up on shuffle but I've just never taken the time to play the whole thing.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Seriously, if you took the ten best tracks from the album, you'd have an easy rival to London Calling.

Well it's so all over the place that it's really hard to compare to anything else, even London Calling. I mean.. fucking gospel.

But yeah it's a rival to London Calling even in its current state. It does get a little tiring because of the length but there are awesome tracks scattered throughout. I'd say it's more consistent than some double albums, ie the White Album.

The Standard - Swimmer

I wish I could find more indie rock artists with this sound.

Picked this up a few days ago and have given it quite a few listens since then. The combination of cello, violin, and piano together here is very enjoyable. Gothic sounding and also relaxing at the same time.

I saw Emanuel Ax play with the Nashville Symphony. I soiled myself extensively.
Met him afterwards too.

Really liking this right now, for fans of Tool and Jethro Tull
...they often get called Jethro Tool (but with tribal arrangements).

The Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas samples on 'Powertrip' are used well.
