Little Dragon - Machine Dreams

I spent a LOT of time on their debut...it was incredibly addicting. I knew they had this one out for a while, but never wanted to stop listening to their s/t. Finally, I gave this a spin and thought it started out kind of weak. Then they kicked in with My Step...wow that track is killer. Little Dragon are the ****. This album goes deeper into their electronic side...the loungey/jazzish vibe of the first album isn't present. At first, that is what bothered me...but now I love it.

Woah I guess I've got a circus theme going on here...

Neutral Milk Hotel - On Avery Island

Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle

I'm still gay for Patton.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Joe Pug - Messenger

I've been looking forward to this album and it definitely did not disappoint. Great album from start to finish.

My heart kind of skipped a beat when I saw these album covers together. 2 of my all-time favorites.

Anyway, I posted this before but I'm still really digging this..

Sooo good, especially for its time. Basically really, really early indie/grunge.

I worded that poorly. I meant that it sounded relatively different than a lot of music at the time (at least, imo).

i still can't love that album, not after the incredible strength of their debut. the first and last tracks grab me, but what's in between just passes by unnoticed

Decided to go on some blind luck and check out whatever album (or in this case, related album) was being discussed in the last post of this thread. Luckily its a band I haven't heard at all, and one that's being discussed by 2 members who's tastes I pretty closely align myself with. It's teleporting ATM, but I'm excited.
