This album very quickly became one of my very favourite records. I agree that it's just absolutely gorgeous stuff, from start to finish. Perfect album to put on after a busy or stressful day, turn it right up and chill the fuck out to.

^ Good album, if a bit inconsistent across the whole body of work, but the Heartbreakers were a kick-arse backing band all the same. One of the first punk albums I ever bought too, so it's been a bit of a trip down memory lane here.

The Polyphonic Spree - The Beginning Stages Of....

I've been listening to this a lot lately. The album just relaxes you.

love the beats and instruments used on this thing, the reggaeton feel and qualities that strech out more than the aforementioned style. wished more reggaeton artists would try some of the things i hear on here.

Only three songs deep but I have a feeling this won't disappoint. Awesome '90s garage rock revival without sounding overproduced or too clean for the music. For some reason I'm getting an enormous early Stones / Monks feel from these guys.

This womens voice is just amazing. Caged bird is quite possibly my favourite song at the minute.

Aight.

Many Mansions - Return to Source
Upbeat, interesting, and with a world-sound twist to it that makes it well worth a listen. Sort of like if Animal Collective and Ladysmith Black Mambazo had a baby....trippy visuals and all.

El Guincho - Alegranza!
Similarly world-music sounding, but with more obvious tropical and afrobeat influences. I just found out this is only one dude, and I'm pretty impressed by that. This record easily sounds like a whole band did it. I think come spring time, this will be my favorite "lay in the grass and enjoy the sunshine" record. :>

EDIT: Haw haw I'm such a noob that I can't post pictures. Womp. Oh well.
