My brother found this after I thought I lost it months ago. Its still in good condition, too. I've listened to it about 3 times in the past 24 hours.

I've been digging on this one, too. Thanks to Lat for introducing us.

Certainly not the finest album ever made but I love the production on this and it made major waves when it was released. Still a nostalgic fave.

i've had that cd since high school and while i eventually grew to really like it, the way the singing was turned me off from it for a while. not saying they had a bad singer, just that he had the grace of an elephant in the mud going through the lyrics.

alot of times he sang the verses in ways where they could've fixed up what was actually being said and it didn't have to sound so awkard and wordy.

Delerium - Karma

My friend gave me these guys over a year ago and I didn't get around to actually listening to them until very recently. The song "Enchanted" came up on my Zune and it was incredibly relaxing as I was laying back in a post-bong hit delirium (no pun intended) and everything just flowed together so perfectly. It was one of those rare moments when your actions and your music just seem to coincide so perfectly that all you're left with is this blissful feeling of being complete. I hadn't experienced anything on that magnitude since I first heard "Marquee Moon" by Television over 3 years ago, but by ED! Karma delivered it flawlessly. I decided to load up another bowl and threw the album on from the beginning and just drifted off into reverie. Such an amazing blend of electronic beats, ambient sounds, something similar to Gregorian Chant, and Middle Eastern music. Don't believe me, listen for yourself:

I've listened to them a couple of times, only because on of the members was the guy who did the remixes for Fear Factory. I admit that I like the sone Silence with Sara McLaughlan, but I can't do the "electronica" thing for too long, and ended up going back to Remanufacture after too long

Oh my goodness. The memories I have associated with that album. Replace bong hit with some X, replace the "laying back" with erotic sex, and there you have it. :o: I played that album to death, eventually wearing my self out on it and never listened to any of their other albums. It's kind of out of character for me to like something like this (aside from the Skinny Puppy connection), but somehow it worked. It worked really well.
