Getting that Common album to check out later I think.
I'm really digging II this atm: BT - Emotional Technology I'd listened to this way back when it came out, and don't remember caring for it much then. I already had my favorite BT albums, and was convinced this was nowhere near as good, and didn't touch it since. Threw it in again a couple days ago though, and now it's clicking like mad...and I'm totally baffled by my earlier judgement. |

Adam F - Colours
Some random d'n'b album I've had on the hard drive since forever yet not actually listened to 'til now. Great album, killer beats, the vocals work really well where they're opted for as well - it all just fits together seamlessly. I definitely need more of this kinda thing. |

Forest for the Trees One of those random albums I picked up at the used book store. Popped it in, and it instantly felt like Beck making trip-hop. A bit of research, and apparently he was actually involved in it. Just some diverse, top notch trip-hop. One of my favorites in the genre I think. These three kick ass when I'm in a melancholic mood like I have been. |

^ Part of a much less-exciting string of releases in the 70s, this one's actually alright. As the title may suggest, it's an album of Scott Walker singing a bunch of movie themes, including those of the Godfather, Mary Queen Of Scots and Sunflower, and he does a decent job with the majority of them too. ^ And here's a 3-disc compilation you can set your watch to |
